Founder & G. M Kerso Adane Berhe is founder of Adal Bamboo PLC, and founder of Gelan city chamber of commerce currently board member. Adal Industrial PLC is established in September 2006, at a distance of 26km to eastern part of Addis Ababa (road from Addis to Debrezeit).With 80% female employees the industry creates employment opportunity for 180 employees.
It is organized to process bamboo flooring, bamboo blinding/curtain/ incense sticks, table mats, bill folder, menu folder, bamboo pulp & paper Bamboo charcoal and toothpicks. As the factory produces quality bamboo products, it has gained good reputation in the market. From time to time its customer size has been increasing. Financially, the company has also recorded remarkable growth both in terms of financial position as well as financial performances. The Company supplies its products both locally and internationally to retailers, wholesalers and individuals. Its products are used by individual homes, hotels and packaging company areas just to name a few. Adal Bamboo also supplies raw materials for bamboo sticks, saw dust, charcoal powder to foreign incense stick producing factories.
